Men What to wear to a festival

Summer also means the return of music festivals, in France and throughout Europe. Whether you’re a regular at these kinds of events or preparing to experience your very first festival, the question of what to wear remains a tricky one: how should a man dress for a festival?

The golden rules for a successful festival look

Before suggesting some ideas for men’s festival looks, we wanted to remind you (or introduce you to) the golden rules to follow to create a successful festival outfit.

Your outfit should be practical.

First and foremost, when it comes to festivals, practicality is key. You’ll literally be walking across lawns for hours, dancing, stomping, eating standing up or sitting on the ground, and maybe even sleeping there… all outdoors in the middle of summer. So make sure your outfit allows you to do all that comfortably!  Also, think about accessories: bring a bag that allows you to keep a water bottle, sunscreen, and a pair of sunglasses with you.

Your outfit should be comfortable.le

In addition to being practical, your festival outfit absolutely must be comfortable. Your look should allow you to move freely, not get too hot, dry quickly (because yes, you’re going to sweat and/or get caught in a downpour), and set up wherever you like without fear of getting dirty.  Lightweight natural materials such as linen, cotton, hemp, et,c.They’re excellent options, but be careful not to choose something too delicate either.

Your outfit should reflect your personality above all else.

Finally, the last golden rule for a successful men’s festival outfit: dress according to your style and preferences. There’s no need to dress up to attend a concert; you risk enjoying yourself less because your attention will be preoccupied with doubts about your appearance.  So while the festival can certainly be an opportunity to bring out your most original pieces or even try out new things, make sure you choose clothes in which you feel like yourself.

The workwear look with an outdoor twist, for those who regularly attend summer festivals.

If cargo pants and overshirts are staples of your wardrobe, opt for an outdoor workwear look for your next festival.  Pair your favorite cargo pants with a tank top or t-shirt (plain or patterned, as you prefer), tie your favorite overshirt around your waist, and add a pair of work boots. For an outdoor touch, choose a small hiking backpack and add a baseball cap—you’ll be all set.
